Here are the last of these frames... for now... there's actually some more to come but I've decided to save them for when I'm too busy to actually create something and need something to share :)
These were gifts to Brian's siblings this year:
I love how these ones turned out, I wasn't convinced they would look as nice vertically but with only 5 letters I think they are much more balanced.
Attaching the letters was a nightmare because I wanted everything centered nicely and my math skills are terrible. I used Sticky Strip, the one I made for us ages ago seems to be stuck down nicely so it should hold pretty good. The letters are all cut with my Serif Essentials Dies and once again covered in CS cut with the same dies and embossed with the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder. The letters for each one are spaced slightly differently depending on the letters you've used.
For the top frame I have used Spice Cake DSP and the bottom is Well Worn DSP. Both are sponge daubed heavily around the edges, the top in Soft Suede and the bottom in Early Espresso.
These are great gift projects and they aren't incredibly difficult if your math skills are better than mine ;)
Cheers!
